Vår Hage - Vår Verden

Blå Valmuesøster

Hagen er vårt private Eden – Her finner vi ro, her finner vi glede, her finner vi overskudd.

Langsomt formes den etter våre ønsker.

Welcome to my Garden and my new Garden Blog

I am Jan Bjerring and this is my new Garden Blog.

Our Garden as seen from above

I have created this Garden blog in order to share the pleasures we find in building and tending our environment. I shall be showing you plants, flowers , trees and shrubs. I shall tell about which ones were successful and which ones were not. I shall show what we have buildt and how we buildt it. Hopefully there will be some useful tips and tricks to share and maybe we can help you avoid some of the failures and mistakes we’ve made.

I shall also include pictures of various projects and plants which, hopefully will  be inspiering.

We live on the outskirts of Oslo, Norway. According to the USDA-zones map we are in a 4-5 zone. This means that plants with a hardiness of 4 should be safe. (though in our experience they will need to be planted in a sheltered place). Hardiness 5 is the safest bet.
